Don't Be Denied Your Authority
by Stan Riley
I want you to read this book. It continues the important message
of my book, "Don It Be Denied God's Power". Now I want you to learn this: Don't
Be Denied Your Authority.
Power and authority - that's what the Christian life is all about.
I've learned more.
Since that book on Power was published people have urged me to continue writing. Each new
experience with healing and freeing people from the stranglehold of the devil has taught
me more about God. About His power and the authority He wants us to have.
I've seen more miracles.
I have seen more insane adults and children become whole right before my very eyes. I have
seen more cancer and other deadly diseases just dissipate, to our fresh amazement once
again. I have seen more occult-driven, frenzied neurotics made whole in their minds again,
sent home to their families with the good news. I have seen more believers take on their
"new" authority, and walk in a victory they didn't know could be theirs because
they hadn't heard it before.
The authority we have is clearly stated.
The miraculous was not just a rare occurrence in the New Testament. God's people were
expecting signs and wonders. The early church saw amazing things.
How can we turn aside from our Lord who said, "If you love Me, keep My
commandments"? (John 14:15 and John 15:10). Again the believers were instructed to do
so in I John 5:2-3.
There's a time to PRAY, and there's a time to SAY.
God has so much more for us, if we'll only take hold of it. We must learn when to pray
about it and when to rise up with His authority and SAY it.
" ... whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou
cast into the sea; and Shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things
which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith." (Mark 11:23)
I had to write this book.
I know it isn't fair to keep this teaching to myself and my own circle of friends and
local church family. So, gentle as He is with me, I know this book must be done. I claim I
Thessalonians 5:24 which tells me that Faithful is He that calls me Who will also do it.
I've made the Holy Spirit my best friend. He's taught me some new and better ways to
minister to hurting and seeking people.
So I place these truths in your hands with the prayer that you allow His Holy Spirit to
become your best friend. Allow Him to teach you about His power and your authority,
continually teaching you new truths, better strategies. Then, if you will, share with me
what He has shown you, so that we might truly become together that beautifully obedient
and powerful Bride He will be married to forever.
His servant, and yours,
Stan Riley
